Avignon

Discontinuity as an expressive language and representation of the most intimate ultra-rational essence of Cucine Design Co., in a unique and balanced balance of technology, aesthetic sophistication, modularity and made-to-measure production.

The new Avignon kitchen is the result of a collaboration with Nicola Gallizia and proposes a concept of decomposition of space and aggregation systems that look beyond industrial rationality. A cultural tribute to the work of Pablo Picasso "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" which presents in a visionary way a simultaneity of different points of view and introduces a new way of conceiving reality. The deconstruction of space and functions constitutes the leitmotif of Avignon.

HARMONIES OF MATERIAL DETAILS

Avignon's design approach focused on deconstruction creates a harmonious movement of volumes and recesses that favor the combination of materials. Two materials are the protagonists of Avignon: Eucalyptus Frisé wood and Dover White marble. The precious essence of matt painted Eucalyptus Frisè, coming from FSC certified wood species and worked with a dyeing process free of synthetic dyes, shows the small ripples of the regular and parallel veins when the light breaks on the surfaces. Dover White marble is characterized by fluid and sinuous shapes in shades of gray and milky white. The stylistic feature of the project lies in the number 7.5 which expresses the important thicknesses in centimeters of the table top, top and back panels, as well as the large handles,

ENCOUNTER BETWEEN HIGH CRAFTSMANSHIP AND HIDDEN DOMOTICS

The island houses two hidden volumes that protrude from the top on command: one contains a monitor that can rotate in front of the table or in front of the island, the other placed next to the hob is designed to store a large library of spices and kitchen utensils. The table is set up with functional elements becoming, alternatively or simultaneously, a place for gathering and conviviality, for work, play and entertainment. A HomeOffice equipment allows you to store laptop, mouse, keyboard, notebooks, pens as well as being equipped with USB sockets and ports; a PlayGround container has housing for consoles, tablets, drawing equipment; a Convivio sliding rail contains accessories for cocktails, glasses and bottles.

Smart technology: the intelligent multi-functionality of the kitchen space

Avignon reflects TM Italia's philosophy of combining fine craftsmanship details with an advanced design approach, which offers technological additions and new usage scenarios to which the kitchen space is called to respond. A concentrate of invisible technology enables different functions through remote controls or home automation interfaces with voice control.
